Which formats can Vectra export?
SVG, PDF and EPS for vector work, plus PNG and JPEG when you need a raster. SVG is the one to pick if the file has to stay editable in another vector tool afterwards.
Can I open files made in Illustrator?
Vectra imports SVG and PDF, which covers most exchange between vector tools. An .ai file saved with PDF compatibility usually opens; Illustrator-specific layer effects do not survive the trip.
How many artboards can one document hold?
There is no fixed cap. The practical limit is the memory the browser tab has available, which on a normal machine means far more artboards than a single project needs.
Does Vectra do gradient meshes and boolean operations?
Yes to both — boolean union, subtract and intersect on any path, plus gradient meshes for smooth multi-point colour. The shape builder covers the quick cases without opening a dialog.
Can I bring artwork into the other modules?
Vector artwork moves into Inkwell for painting over, into Composer for animation, and into Engine as interface elements or sprites — inside the same project, without an export step.
Do I own what I make, and can I sell it?
Yes. You keep the rights to everything you create, for personal and commercial work alike, and you can export it at any time — including after you stop subscribing.
