These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for specified purposes.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

8.1 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: Required for Platform functionality, authentication, and security.
  • Performance Cookies: Collect information about how you use our Platform to improve performance.
  • Functional Cookies: Remember your preferences and settings.
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand user behavior and measure Platform effectiveness.
  • Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertisements (with your consent).

8.2 Your Cookie Choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling essential cookies may limit Platform functionality. Most browsers allow you to:
  • View and delete cookies.
  • Block third-party cookies.
  • Block all cookies (not recommended).
  • Receive notifications when cookies are set.

For more information about managing cookies, visit: http://www.allaboutcookies.org

8.3 Local Storage

Our browser-based Platform uses local storage (and similar browser storage mechanisms) to help the Services run seamlessly — for example, to keep you signed in, remember preferences, enable core editor functionality, cache certain data to improve performance, and support limited offline or degraded-network operation where available. You can clear local storage through your browser settings, but doing so may reset preferences and affect certain features.

8.4 Third-Party Analytics and Attribution Services

We use the following third-party services to measure traffic, attribute conversions, and improve the Platform. Each service may set its own cookies and process technical data (IP address, user agent, referrer, page URL) under its own privacy policy:
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — usage analytics and advertising attribution.
  • raws.dev — referral and signup attribution. When you create an account, we send your internal aukimi user identifier to raws.dev so that referral sources can be matched to a successful signup. No email address, password, or content is shared.
  • Stripe — payment processing (only on checkout pages).

You can block these services using browser-level tracker blockers, privacy extensions, or Do Not Track settings. Doing so does not affect your ability to use the core Platform.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and content, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using strong encryption.
  • Access Controls: Strict access limitations to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
  • Authentication: Secure password requirements and optional two-factor authentication (2FA).
  • Regular Audits: Periodic security assessments and vulnerability testing.
  • Incident Response: Procedures to detect, respond to, and notify users of security breaches.
Swiss-Engineered Reliability: We design our security and operational practices with a focus on Swiss-engineered reliability, including secure hosting practices, resilience measures, and controlled access to systems and data.
Browser-Based Security: Since our Platform runs entirely in your browser, we utilize browser security features, including Content Security Policy (CSP), same-origin policies, and sandboxed execution environments.
Despite our efforts, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use our Services at your own risk.

10. International Data Transfers

nammu is based in Switzerland. If you access our Services from outside Switzerland, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Switzerland or other countries where our service providers operate.

Switzerland has been recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate data protection. For transfers to other countries, we implement appropriate safeguards, including:
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
  • Ensuring service providers comply with GDPR or equivalent data protection standards.
By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
